About:

The Fire Fighters Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that supports your local firefighters in the event of death, disability or serious illness. By providing a monetary donation, raffle or silent auction items, you are supporting your local firefighters. All donations of money or goods to the Fire Fighters Foundation are tax deductible.

Mission Statement/Purpose:

Pittsburgh Fire Fighters Foundation, INC. (PFI) is non-profit corporation that will be operated as a charitable organization devoted to honoring and assisting fallen, retired, and active firefighters and their families through memorials, aid, educational scholarships as well as assisting those in need within the community. This non-profit corporation shall be operated as charitable organization within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

PFI Initiatives

  • Honoring active, retired and/or fallen firefighters through memorials and related events.
  • Assisting firefighters and their families suffering from tragedies or needs.
  • Providing educational scholarships for the children of active and/or fallen firefighters.
  • Assisting firefighters for wellness, behavioral health, and rehabilitation.
  • Assisting members of the community in need.
  • Providing coats to keep the community’s children warm in the winter.
  • Provide and/or assist with fire and life safety programs and education.
  • Providing disaster relief.
  • Assist other related charities.

Pittsburgh Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial

This memorial is to honor the fallen firefighters who passed in the line of duty. Located in Hazelwood at 120 Flowers Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207. This memorial will act as a lasting testament to the brave heroes who lost their lives serving others.

Operation Warm

Pittsburgh Fire Fighters is taking part in Operation Warm! Help us provide new coats and shoes to children in need in our community.

Nearly one in five children in our communities live in need. For their families, paying for food, housing, heat and healthcare takes priority, meaning many children have to go without proper weather essentials when winter comes.
